Cancel transaction

Hi,

The documentation says: “A bank transfer is cancellable up until 4pm CT on that same business day if the transfer was initiated prior to 4PM CT. If a transfer was initiated after 4pm CT, it can be canceled anytime before 4pm CT on the following business day” But in the sandbox I can cancel transactions that are more than a week old and are in “pending” status. Is this normal behavior?

Hi @ricardo – yes, this is the expected behavior in Sandbox since it doesn’t replicate any bank transfer processes. You can, however, simulate transfer processing by either clicking on the Process Bank Transfers button in the Dashboard, or calling the /sandbox-simulations endpoint,

POST https://api-sandbox.dwolla.com/sandbox-simulations

After processing bank transfer simulating, you should able to view the transfer resource from the API and find out if it’s cancellable or not.
