# Document change or more clarifiation

Below is a response when I am checking status of a transfer. Per docs it says to do transfer.status on the object. If you look at this object that was returned the first status is set to 200 however the next status says “pending” how do I get to the second status? Should there be 2 statuses on this object?

Hey @MassVenture,

The `DwollaV2::Response` object currently lets you access `headers`, `status`, and any body properties by calling `res.*`. In this particular situation you’ll need to do:

```ruby
res[:status]

```

if you want to access the response body’s status property instead of the response status. Sorry for the confusion. I should have anticipated the conflict/ambiguity when I wrote the client. I’ll work with the rest of the team on making this more clear. Thanks for the heads up!
