Hey there,

Getting a validation error when creating a funding source based on Plaid’s `processor_token`.

```auto
{
   "code":"ValidationError",
   "message":"Validation error(s) present. See embedded errors list for more details.",
   "_embedded":{
      "errors":[
         {
            "code":"Invalid",
            "message":"Token is invalid.",
            "path":"/plaidToken",
            "_links":{
            }
         }
      ]
   }
}
```

Do I need to somehow enable the Plaid integration on Dwolla side as well?

Thanks,
Vahe

@evoyan, We’re actively working with Plaid to investigate an issue with the Sandbox accepting a `processor_token` from Plaid. Apologies for the inconvenience, I’ll be sure to post back with any updates!

Hey @spencer, I’m having the same “HTTP 400: Bad Request” issue as of this morning. I’ve been trying with new processor tokens but the validation error still says my token is invalid each time. Any updates?

@spencer is this a known issue for attempting to use Plaid “development” mode with Dwolla “Production” mode? Do we need to move Plaid into “production” mode to work with Dwolla “Production”?

Hi @vanmeter.developer, I wouldn’t classify it specifically as an issue with the integration. Plaid has a third environment that unfortunately Dwolla doesn’t map to which allows you to test in a limited fashion with real data. Dwolla only has Sandbox for testing and Production for when your app is approved to go-live and create real data. In order to use Plaid with real data then you’ll need to be approved to call the Dwolla production API.

Hi @spencer I am experiencing this same issue. I create a dwolla customer, then use a public token from plaid to create a plaid access token. when I try to create a dwolla payment source using the plaid access token and item id i get the following response:

code: “Invalid”

message: “Token is invalid.”

path: “/plaidToken”

* * *

I have the first level of plaid account and sandbox level of dwello. The token I create is a valid one of the format i.e. access-sandbox-161c86dd-d470-47e9-a741-d381c2b2cb6f
but the error happens every time.

Thank you for any advice on how to resolve this error.

* * *

Is the access-sandbox token that plaid generates different from the processor-sandbox token which plaid generates?
plaid seems to have no docs on the processor-sandbox token

* * *

the token error which is not of the format of the `INVALID_PROCESSOR_TOKEN` documented in plaid? the description of the token makes it seem like the one in the dwolla-plaid-intergration post but the error doesn’t match and the tokens im providing (which are being generated fresh each time) are deemed not valid.

turns out I was trying to use the access\_token. the correct order of steps to create a dwolla funding source using plaid link is as follows:
STEP 1: FIRST WE INIT OUR APPTOKEN WITH DWELLO
STEP 2: WE CREATE A NEW CUSTOMER ON DWELLO
STEP 3: WE CREATE A PLAID ACCESSTOKEN USING A PLAID PUBLICTOKEN
STEP 4 CREATE PLAID PROCESSORTOKEN FROM ACCES TOKEN
STEP 5: we use our plaid PROCCESSORTOKEN to create a dwolla funding source
