Dwolla YouTube "Add and Verify a Bank or Credit Union Account"

(Karin Powell) #1

The publish date on here is 2013… anything newer out there? or it this still ‘current’?

There are two different methods Dwolla users can use to connect a bank account, instant account or micro-deposit verification method. The instant account method uses the user’s online bank login credentials and the micro-deposit verification prompts the users to enter their routing and account number.

Sorry, I guess I need to clarify. I’m providing this YouTube as part of our “directions” for our clients who are public school parents. Our page is here: https://apps.sdhc.k12.fl.us/paymentProcessing/DwollaRegisterHelp.php
What I really need to know is …
Is this video showing up-to-date information? OR is it showing an older interface and will only confuse the client if they watch it and try to follow along? :cold_sweat:

That video is really old. They would still click funding sources but the interface is different.

The funding sources is found in the header:

Once clicked they can search for the bank to add:

If their bank is found through search they will be prompted to manually add it:

Thanks @bpmilne. Maybe Dwolla could yank those older YouTubes(?).
May I use your images (above)?

Hi @KarinDPowell

There is a more recent instructional video you could use that is posted here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-hlrWZZj-I

We also have a help article that outlines the process: http://help.dwolla.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1203255-linking-your-bank-or-credit-union-account?b_id=5438
