# Funding source verification

how we know or get funding source verified unverified by api  
funding source verification by account number and routing number or Plaid

Hi @Sateesh_Kr_Maurya,

You can find the status of a funding-source by making GET call to the funding source endpoint and viewing the `status` field in the response-body.

Here’s an example request//response body for retrieving a funding-source via the API that has a status of `unverified` -

Hi,

today have initiated micro deposit on production server. and after 3 hour I have try to make payment with ($0.01+0.01) total $0.02 for micro-deposit through API. and its giving 403 error.  
and my dwolla account on fund-source tab its showing error “ **Deposit verification failed** ”.

why its giving error like this. I used actual bank account detail for initiate micro-deposit verification process.

Please help me on this.

Hi @murli_1990 – the microdeposit amounts would probably not have made it into the bank account within 3 hours of initiating. Were you seeing the two $0.01 amount deposits in your bank statement by any chance and you entered the amounts for verification? If not, you’d have to wait for the microdeposits to process and get a `customer\_microdeposits\_completed" webhook before verifying the amounts.

Thank you @shreya .

Is there any API to find out that Initiate micro-deposits passed of fail from the bank.  
Because I need to prevent micro-deposit again-again by the user. Because after 3 fail attempted **" Initiate micro-deposits**" going to fail.

So I need an API to stop " **Verify micro-deposits**" process until and unless the bank not approved for " Verify micro-deposits".

And when the bank will approve, then I will able to call " Verify micro-deposits" API with $0.02+$0.05.  
And finally, fund-source will be verified.
