# Gettig Error while creating customer

Hello, I am getting below error while creating customer.  
Your account has exceeded the maximum number of banks allowed.

Hi @manish.prajapati – this error should only be thrown if you’re attempting to create a funding-source and not a Customer account. If that’s not the case, let us know and please share your request body and any information that can help us debug the issue!
