# Help with Dwolla Transfers

Hi There,

I was hoping someone can help me confirm something. From reading the docs, I was originally under the impression that we can transfer a maximum of $5k/week from an unverified account. But during integration, we found that a funding source must be verified in order to transfer any money from it. And we have to verify in one of two ways:

- Verify via Micro deposit
- Verify via the Plaid integration WITHIN Dwolla

Hi @jackie_thrive – in order to send funds from a funding-source, it has to be verified. We have the following methods of verifying a funding-source -

- [Verify via the Plaid integration](https://developers.dwolla.com/guides/plaid#plaid-integration)
