Misnamed field in Webhook Event documentation

(Joel Mizzoni) #1

The documentation for Events specifies a field containing the time the event was created called created. In testing, this field seems to be called timestamp. This should be made consistent.

@jmizzoni, Thank you for bringing this to our attention! The Event object will contain an attribute created if you GET the event by id, however it is only when you receive the event via a webhook that we display timestamp. This is an issue as it is not consistent across the API. We are working on adding in created to the event when you receive it through a webhook, and in the future deprecate timestamp which is showing up today. I’ll reply back to this thread when created has been added and then update the example responses shown in our documentation.
