# Not able to test bank transfer failure

Hello !

I try to create transfers with status “failed” in my sandbox. I followed these steps: [Getting started in the sandbox | Dwolla API Documentation](https://developers.dwolla.com/guides/sandbox#test-bank-transfer-failures)  
But they are in status “pending”. Did I miss something ?

Here is the payload

Both FS1 and FS2 are named “R01”

Have you tried the below?
