# Webhooks in pending status but received on our end

We are receiving the webhooks fine to our api and are performing appropriate actions based on them, but they say pending and are being retried automatically in Dwolla. Can you help with this?

Hi @Andrew_Lewis – We usually retry webhooks if there is no response within 10 seconds of delivery attempt or if the response status code is greater than `300`.

If not of the above is the case with the response, would you be able to share a few examples of the webhooks that are retrying, or have retried even after a `2xx` level response within 10 seconds?

That will help us investigate further. Thanks!
