Webhook subscription is not working in ec2 server

I have created a webhook subscription for my sandbox environment.
Active webhook

{
  "_links": {
    "self": {
      "href": "https://api-sandbox.dwolla.com/webhook-subscriptions/730834df-4889-40fb-8a9d-3279e0ed6a48",
      "type": "application/vnd.dwolla.v1.hal+json",
      "resource-type": "webhook-subscription"
    },
    "webhooks": {
      "href": "https://api-sandbox.dwolla.com/webhook-subscriptions/730834df-4889-40fb-8a9d-3279e0ed6a48/webhooks",
      "type": "application/vnd.dwolla.v1.hal+json",
      "resource-type": "webhook"
    }
  },
  "id": "730834df-4889-40fb-8a9d-3279e0ed6a48",
  "url": "https://qaapi.godomo.com/api/businessCustomer/dwollaApiWebhook",
  "paused": false,
  "created": "2022-07-16T10:21:58.568Z"
},

But I am not getting any request in my webhook URL. Can you suggest what could be the issue here?

Hey @naveenkumarwittyparr – that looks like the URL we have on file for your webhook-subscription. From our logs, it appears that we have been trying to send webhooks and retrying webhooks but aren’t getting a successful response from your server.

I’d check your server to see if it is able to receive POST requests. The webhook-subscription is likely in a “paused” status right now due to 400 consecutive failures

I checked, i am able to hit webhook endpoint from postman, getting success response and i attached postman response please check it
I checked status of webhook it is still paused=false.

If your webhook handler perhaps responding after 10 seconds of receipt? That would also count as a timeout, and Dwolla will retry the webhook again.

I am able to confirm that we are sending webhooks to that endpoint. It also looks like the subscription was paused today as of 7/27/22 8:16:39.530 AM Central Time. You can unpause it via the API by following this doc - Update a Webhook Subscription | Dwolla API Documentation

Yes. It is responding within 1 sec
and i updated it to false

Thanks for confirming that Naveen. Maybe try deleting the webhook subscription and creating it again and see if that changes anything!

Will try by deleting it.
Thanks

Hi, I deleted and created new one.
Still same issue.
New webhook-subscription is

{
      "_links": {
        "self": {
          "href": "https://api-sandbox.dwolla.com/webhook-subscriptions/92c3f28e-c92c-44bd-88ae-6cbbfa0deb77",
          "type": "application/vnd.dwolla.v1.hal+json",
          "resource-type": "webhook-subscription"
        },
        "webhooks": {
          "href": "https://api-sandbox.dwolla.com/webhook-subscriptions/92c3f28e-c92c-44bd-88ae-6cbbfa0deb77/webhooks",
          "type": "application/vnd.dwolla.v1.hal+json",
          "resource-type": "webhook"
        }
      },
      "id": "92c3f28e-c92c-44bd-88ae-6cbbfa0deb77",
      "url": "https://qaapi.godomo.com/api/businessCustomer/dwollaApiWebhook",
      "paused": false,
      "created": "2022-08-04T08:45:36.919Z"
    }

Thanks for trying that out and sharing the new webhook-subscription object!

Looking at our logs, it does look like the subscription is active and we are sending webhooks to it. The last webhook we sent to this URL was at 2022-08-05T13:55:53.986Z UTC. The webhook ID is a6cc9cff-7fbe-45df-b70d-23614be35d8b. You can make a GET request to retrieve the webhook resource from the API and see the attempts that have been made.

You may also want to check out our webhook-receiver example which uses AWS Lambda to handle webhooks. Other than that, I’m afraid I can’t be of much help!
