I added a new customer but mistyped the name. Therefore, I suspended it thinking to create a new account with the correct name. Now it is not allowing me to create even a new account with same email ID. What are my options here need to initiate the customer payment today.

Because the email address is a unique identifier, you wouldn’t be able to use the same email to create a different account. Since this is in production you would have to contact support at email@example.com to have it deactivated to free up the email or un-suspended. Or you can create the new account using a different email.
