Validation on Account Number of Receive-ony customer


I see that Dwolla throws invalid parameter error when I give an exceptionally long account number while adding a bank account for the receive-only customer. How long can be an Account number for which Dwolla wouldn’t throw any error?

When attaching a bank account as a funding-source to a Customer, the Account number is validated to check if it is a numeric string of 4-17 digits.

Similarly, the Routing number is also checked to be 9 digits. The validation of the Routing number also includes a checksum – the first two digits of the routing number must fall within the range “01” through “12”, or “21” through “32”.
