According to this topic What are the credentials needed to get the balance of a customer's funding source(bank account), I need to request the getBalance feature be enabled in our sandbox account. Is that still true and can you help with that?

Hi @Pat!
Unfortunately we no longer support this functionality.
You are however able to retrieve a Dwolla balance in the sandbox account. We have a dropin component that can help with this.
