Hi,
Quick question I’m sure is easy to solve, but I am trying to create a funding token via plaid and I do get the processor token from Plaid and when I do try to process it on Dwolla, it tells me that the link Plaid provided is invalid.
**I am using Plaid in a development environment, but I am currently still in the sandbox for Dwolla.
Could this be the reason why Dwolla is refusing to process the token?
Thanks for any help!
Hello @adoba hope your week is going well.
You are correct in that the Plaid development environment is not compatible with the Dwolla Sandbox.
Currently the Dwolla Sandbox accepts Plaid Sandbox tokens, while the Dwolla Production environment only accepts Plaid Production tokens.
The Plaid Development environment is unsupported at the this time.
Is this still the case?
Hi @marccantwell, Yes this is still the case. The Plaid Development environment is still unsupported at this time. We’ll be sure to pass this feedback on to our Product team to evaluate adding Plaid Development -> Dwolla Sandbox support.
Can we create another application ( test version of the app) in dwolla production and connect it to Plaid production to set up a pipeline for testing with real accounts and transfers?
Hi @Ajay_Nair , Feel free to reach out to support@dwolla.com and the support team can assist with provisioning a new application. Keep in mind that data is tied to a single Dwolla Account and not an individual application. So if you’re wanting to generate new API keys for testing the creation of Funding Sources (as an example), that data can be accessed across all applications you create.
