We are encountering the following error code when attempting to create a transfer in our sandbox environment:
Earlier, this process worked without any issues. Could you please assist us in resolving this?
{
“code”: “Forbidden”,
“message”: “Invalid Funds Flow: this operation requires the funds flow ‘Receive’ to be enabled”
}
The funding source we are using to receive funds is 168b40e8-1d19-4850-912c-cf4429b73335.
Hi @sudhir1, it appears we updated your Sandbox account on 1/23/25 to match your Production settings. This includes enabling your account for Facilitate funds flow and disabling Send and Receive.
Was there a use case which requires you to have Receive enabled? Or were you perhaps just testing a one-off transfer?
For testing purposes, we need both Send and Receive to be enabled on the Sandbox environment.
Could you also clarify what enabling the account for “Facilitate Funds Flow” means?
Our use case involves transferring client funds from their bank account to ours via Plaid. With the previous sandbox settings, we were able to demo this, but now the transfer creation is failing. Could you please reset the settings, also guide me on how to do so in the Sandbox environment ? I’ve been unable to locate those settings.
Hi @sudhir1, it seems there might have been a confusion regarding the flow of funds. Wahed’s funds flows involves facilitation: Investors (Unverified Customers or Verified Customers) sending funds to Properties (Business Verified Customers) for real estate investments, and the reverse flow for investment distributions/proceeds.
The Properties (Business Verified Customers) are internal Wahed owed properties/businesses. They need to be set up as Business Verified Customer accounts and cannot be the Main Dwolla Account. With that done, you should be able to facilitate funds from the Investors to the Property accounts. This should eradicate the need to receive funds into your Main Dwolla Account.
The funds flow settings can only be updated by your Integration Consultant at Dwolla and aren’t available in the Dashboard.
Hope this helps clarify the funds flow in relation to your use-case. Please let us know if you have any questions!
