Dwolla plaid integration bank account related doubts

Hey I am using dwolla and plaid integration for linking bank account to the end users what types of errors can we face which we cannot catch in sandbox environment? What if lets say user X is successfully verified user in dwolla platform tries to add user Y’s bank account does dwolla simply lets the user to add the account or it gives an error at the time when user tries to add the bank account? If dwolla lets the user add the bank account with a different username then does it causes issues at the time while processing the transfers of that user? @shreya @Nancy_Baccam

Hi @Mayank,

We don’t necessarily match the Customer’s name to their name at the bank (some banks may be joint accounts). So, in this scenario, user X is able to add user Y’s bank account.

This doesn’t cause an issue on Dwolla’s end when processing the transfer, however, it is dependent on the bank itself to reject a transfer due to the name at the bank not matching the name that we pass on to them.

Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any follow up questions!
